Event Photography

When friends started to ask if I would photograph their special occasions — from milestone birthday parties to a mayoral inauguration — I realized that what I love about it is that everyone is in their natural state. Events are candid and people are usually unguarded, which makes for great storytelling photos. Then I was asked to photograph some theater performances, and realized how fun it is to capture the faces of drama!
