Did I ever, in my wildest dreams, imagine I’d find myself in Sri Lanka? I did not. But now I preach its gospel of the most spectacular sunsets on the planet. Plus… elephants! But this is also one of the places I was fortunate to visit before nascent democracy found itself challenged yet again. I hope it can one day return to what it was becoming.
